Hello, everyone!
2007 has been another year full of blessings for us.
In October, Ben moved to a slightly different position in the BPT (Business Process & Technology) department at SC Johnson. He fully appreciates the challenges and growth opportunities associated with his new responsibilties. He continues to play guitar at the Thursday night worship service at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Distance running is still a joy for him -- he participated in seven marathons this year, finishing successfully in Walt Disney World, Little Rock, Waukesha, Madison, Twin Cities, Grand Rapids, and Overland Park (Kansas). Jenelle's role as Communication Manager at SC Johnson has steadily grown. One of her main responsibilities is coordinating this year's company holiday celebration. As the date of the celebration (December 21) draws near, we hope and pray that everything comes together well. Outside of work, she is serving at Kenosha Bible Church at the Wednesday night AWANA group, mentoring several 5 and 6 year-old kids.
We also spend one evening a week with three other young married couples. It is a wonderful blessing to uplift and encourage each other as we grow together in faith and fellowship.
We continue to stay busy, but we've also had some time to relax. We spent a week in Maui, Hawaii in June, and we made a trip to the family cottage up north in August.
We are filled with gratitude and thanks for the closeness of family and friends, especially this time of year. We're sure to encounter new challenges and experiences in the coming year. We'll do our best to share the latest news at benandjenelle.com. Have a great 2008!
