Merry Christmas!

Thanks for checking in to read this letter. We had another great year in the Isaacson household.

A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated Eliana's first birthday. Her first year has gone by so quickly, and Eliana continues to be a bundle of energy and joy and makes each day a fun new adventure. We have enjoyed many firsts this year - rolling, sitting, crawling, standing and now walking. Eliana now toddles around the house with the help of her new doll stroller and takes a few cautious steps to Mommy and Daddy. She loves music and likes to dance along to the beat. Her favorite activity is emptying out any bin, drawer, basket or cabinet. She can say "daddy", "mama", "all done", "up", "hi" and "uh oh."

Jenelle spends her days playing tea party and making messes with Eliana, and does a little freelance work during naptimes. She also continues to serve as the AWANA Sparks secretary at Kenosha Bible Church, a program that ministers to 100 kindergarteners, first and second graders each week.

Ben really enjoys being a father. When he's not busy working at SC Johnson or playing guitar at church, he's chasing Eliana around the house. While his spare time is limited, he still goes running when he gets a chance, and if the weather is nice enough, he takes Eliana with him in a jogging stroller.
